Activity Status Definitions

  • Teaching (Instructors Only)-A member in good standing who is insured for teaching and conducting scuba activities.
  • Sustaining - A member who has not renewed their membership, but is in contact with HSA.
  • Active - A member in good standing.

Type Definitions

  • I -Instructor
  • AI -Assistant Instructor
  • Teaching
  • DM-Dive Master
  • CD## - Course Director{number} Course Directors are also instructors
  • DB - Dive Buddy
  • A, B, C - Level of open water diver
